Shock vents for motocross and enduro - quick pressure equalization

( number of products: 44 )

Shock absorber breathers are small but extremely important elements that influence the smoothness and precision of the front suspension. During intense driving, the pressure inside the springs increases, stiffening the shock absorber and reducing comfort. Installing suspension breathers allows you to equalize the pressure in a few seconds and restore the natural operation of the suspension - without the need to unscrew the screws on the lag plugs.

Why is it worth using shock absorber breathers?

  • reduce overpressure resulting from oil heating and shock absorber operation,
  • improve the sensitivity of the suspension on small unevenness,
  • extend the life of seals and slides,
  • allows quick bleeding with one click - without the use of tools,
  • facilitate daily servicing of a cross or enduro motorcycle.

Types and structure of suspension breathers

At Bajamoto you will find lag breathers in several variants:

  • Manual – with a button for manual bleeding, most often used in WP, KYB and Showa suspensions,
  • Automatic – self-equalizing pressure after each lag deflection,
  • Tuning CNC – made of aircraft aluminum, available in anodized colors (black, red, blue, green),
  • Breather sets – a set of two valves with seals and M4 or M5 thread, adapted to the factory lag plugs.

Most often used in suspensions

The breathers fit most motorcycles with WP, KYB, Showa and Sachs suspensions. Bajamoto's offer includes models dedicated to:

  • KTM EXC/SX/SX-F – WP XACT and XPLOR suspension,
  • Husqvarna TE/FE – WP 48 mm breather valves,
  • GasGas EC/MC – WP XACT system,
  • Honda CRF, Yamaha YZ-F, Kawasaki KX-F, Suzuki RM-Z – KYB and Showa shock absorbers 46–49 mm.

How to install shock absorber breathers?

Installation is simple and takes a few minutes. Simply unscrew the factory bolts at the top of the shock absorber cap and install the bleeders - without the need to modify the suspension. After each ride, one click is enough to restore the optimal pressure inside the lags.

Choose quality and precision

At Bajamoto you will find shock absorber breathers from Zeta, RaceTech, All Balls, Scar, Prox and other renowned manufacturers. This is an accessory that not only improves driving comfort, but also extends the life of the entire suspension. A small element - a big difference on the track and in the field!

Shock absorber breathers replace the factory screws located in the shock absorber caps. The overpressure that occurs in the front suspension legs during its operation adversely affects damping and impairs handling and driving comfort. The factory bolts require the use of a screwdriver to release the pressure from the shock absorbers. Accessory lag air vents do not require the use of additional tools and allow you to release the pressure in a few seconds, even during training or expedition.
