The motocross and enduro spark plug (spark plug) is one of the most important elements of the combustion engine. The strength of the spark, the combustion of the fuel-air mixture and the overall engine power depend on its condition and quality. At Bajamoto you will findNGK, Denso, Champion and ProX spark plugs - suitable forKTM, Honda, Yamaha, Husqvarna, GasGas and other motorcycles. Our offer includes standard, iridium (Iridium) and racing spark plugs - for 2T and 4T engines.
Why does the right spark plug matter?
The candle is the beginning of everything - each spark ignites the mixture in the cylinder. Too weak a spark, inappropriate thermal range or contamination lead to loss of power, starting problems and engine overheating. A well-selected spark plug ensures optimal combustion, better response to gas and longer piston life.
- strong spark and quick ignition of the mixture,
- easier starting the 2T and 4T engine,
- cleaner combustion and lower fuel consumption,
- resistance to flooding and overheating,
- stable engine operation at low and high speeds.
Types of motocross and enduro spark plugs
- Standard spark plugs (nickel) – classic and durable OEM solution
- Iridium spark plugs (Iridium) – provide a stronger spark and longer life,
- Platinum spark plugs – resistant to high temperatures, used in 4T engines
- Racing candles – for sports and tuned motorcycles
- Candles with resistor – eliminate interference in the motorcycle's electronics.
Top brand of motocross and enduro spark plugs
- NGK – the most popular choice in motocross and enduro, models BR9EG, BR8EIX, CR8EIX,
- Denso – iridium IX spark plugs with excellent operating characteristics,
- Champion – classic OEM candles with high heat resistance
- ProX – racing spark plugs with increased resistance to temperature and vibration,

- FM-Parts – spark plugs for enduro hard motorcycles with enlarged electrodes.
How to choose a spark plug for a motorcycle?
Each motocross and enduro spark plug in Bajamoto has a description of the temperature (e.g. BR9EG, CR8EIX), thread, length and electrode diameter. Examples:
- NGK BR9EG – 2T KTM SX 125 / Husqvarna TC 125
- NGK CR8EIX Iridium – 4T Yamaha YZF 250/450, Honda CRF 250R/450R
- Denso IU24 Iridium Power – KTM EXC-F 350 4T
When selecting a spark plug, follow the motorcycle manufacturer's recommendations and riding conditions. For a track with short sections and high temperatures, choose spark plugs with a colder thermal range (e.g. BR9EIX), and for technical enduro - warmer ones (e.g. BR8EIX).
How to care for the spark plug?
Regularly check the gap between the electrodes (recommended: 0.6–0.8 mm). Do not clean the electrode with metal tools - use a brass brush or a special preparation. Replace the spark plug every 25–50 mth (2T) or 50–100 mth (4T), depending on driving style and fuel. Before installation, always make sure that the thread and socket of the spark plug are clean - this prevents damage to the head.
