Shock absorber locks are accessories that protect the motorcycle suspension against damage during transport. Their task is to protect the front fork against excessive deflection and transfer of forces to the seals and bearings. Why is it worth using a shock absorber lock?

When strapping the motorcycle with transport belts, the pressure acts directly on the suspension. Without the blockade, the following may occur:

  • damage to seals and shock absorber slides,
  • creation of looseness in the lags,
  • oil leakage and faster wear of the bearings,
  • excessive deflection and load of the suspension springs.

Shock absorber lock eliminates this problem - it stabilizes the motorcycle and protects the suspension during transport in a bus, trailer or service stand.

  3. Strap the motorcycle with transport belts - the lock will take the load and secure the shock absorbers.

After reaching the destination, just remove it - the suspension returns to its natural operation, without excessive tension.
