The motocross and enduro alternator winding (stator / alternator coil) is the element responsible for generating electricity in the motorcycle. When the engine is running, the flywheel magnets induce voltage in the windings, which powers the ignition system, lights and battery charging. At Bajamoto you will findalternator windings forKTM, Honda, Yamaha, Husqvarna, GasGas motorcycles from the brandsAll Balls, Athena, ProX, FM-Parts andElectrosport.
Why is the alternator winding so important?
In an off-road motorcycle, the alternator works in extreme conditions - high speeds, mud and temperature are its everyday life. Worn or burned windings cause voltage drops, battery failure to charge, or ignition problems. The new winding ensures stable voltage and reliable ignition - regardless of the conditions.
- stable charging of the 12V battery,
- sure ignition and smooth engine operation,
- electronics protection against voltage drops,
- greater durability and resistance to overheating,
- problem-free starting even after a long standstill.
Types of motocross and enduro alternator windings
- OEM Replacement Windings – direct replacements for original coils
- Racing windings – increased charging power, ideal for motorcycles with additional accessories
- Windings with ignition coils – complete stator + pickup coil sets
- FM-Parts Hard Enduro windings – reinforced insulation and moisture resistance,
- Electrosport High Output Windings – 20-30% greater charging efficiency.
Top brands of motocross and enduro alternator windings
- All Balls – complete OEM Replacement stators with full wiring,
- ProX – high-quality windings for Japanese motorcycles
- Athena – sets with a shaft position sensor and a Plug&Play plug-in
- FM-Parts – reinforced windings for Hard Enduro and MX motorcycles,
- Electrosport – stators with increased charging efficiency
- Tourmax – OEM Replacement for Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki motorcycles.
How to choose an alternator winding for a motorcycle?
Each motocross and enduro alternator winding in Bajamoto has a detailed description of the voltage, number of wires and compatible motorcycle models. Examples:
- All Balls Stator KTM EXC-F 250–500 2017–2024
- ProX Alternator Coil Honda CRF 250R/450R 2014–2023
- FM-Parts High Output Stator Yamaha YZF 250/450 2015–2023
When selecting a winding, pay attention to the ignition type (AC/DC), the number of outputs and the type of voltage regulator. All windings available at Bajamoto are compatible with factory systems and ready for Plug&Play installation.
How to care for the alternator winding?
During service, check the condition of the wire insulation and the cleanliness of the stator socket. After riding in the mud, remove moisture and dirt from the ignition cover. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents - they may damage the insulating varnish. If the battery charge drops or the lights
