When choosing a voltage regulator, start with fit and compatibility: match brand/model/year and confirm the connector type, mounting points, and whether your bike uses a combined regulator/rectifier unit. Next, pick the right type and build quality—MOSFET units typically run cooler and regulate more precisely than older shunt-style designs, which matters in slow, technical enduro where airflow is limited.
