Cross socks

( number of products: 55 )
MX/off-road socks are the base layer that decides whether your day in cross boots is comfortable or a constant fight with hotspots. They manage sweat, reduce rubbing on the shin and heel, and help prevent blisters during long motos, enduro stages, or hard sand sessions. Good socks also improve boot feel, so your shifting and rear-brake control stays precise even when your feet get wet, muddy, or overheated. Choose socks by fit and boot compatibility first: tall MX socks should reach above the boot collar and stay up without cutting circulation. Look at material and construction—technical synthetics or merino blends wick faster than cotton, while reinforced heel/toe zones and a smooth toe seam reduce pressure points under tight buckles. Match thickness to conditions: thin socks for hot weather and maximum feel, thicker or cushioned zones for cold rides or riders prone to bruising. Maintenance matters too: wash inside-out, avoid fabric softeners, and dry gently to keep elasticity and wicking working. Common mistakes are wearing everyday socks that bunch up, or doubling socks to “fix” loose boots—this often creates folds that cause blisters and numbness. Replace socks when the cuff loses grip, the padding packs out, seams start to irritate, or the fabric stays damp and starts to smell quickly even after washing. Tip: Try your socks on with your cross boots and knee guards/braces—any wrinkle at the ankle will turn into a blister after one moto.
