Rim veneer for motocross and enduro - style and protection for wheels
( number of products: 13 )Rim Decals are adhesive graphics made for MX/off-road wheels to protect the rim finish and refresh the look of your bike after hard motos. They help cover scratches from tire levers, sand blast and roost, and keep your build looking sharp next to your jersey, pants and goggles. A good decal set also makes it easier to spot your wheel at a glance in the pits and can reduce corrosion starting from chipped clear coat.
When choosing rim decals, start with fit and compatibility: match the wheel diameter and rim width, and check whether the kit is segmented or one-piece to suit your rim profile and spoke pattern. Next, look at material and adhesive type—thicker, laminated vinyl resists pressure washing, mud and fuel better, while strong high-tack glue holds up to repeated heat cycles from braking. Consider riding conditions: wet clay, rocky enduro and frequent wash-downs call for tougher laminates and UV-stable inks. For maintenance, plan on a clean, degreased rim and enough curing time so the edges don’t lift after your first ride.
Common mistakes are applying decals over old residue or chain lube overspray, and stretching the vinyl too much around tight curves, which leads to edge lift and trapped air. Replace rim decals when you see peeling edges, cracks, or the print is worn through—once grit gets under the film, it will sand the rim every ride.
Tip: Warm the rim and the decal slightly, align around the valve hole first, then work in small sections with firm pressure to lock the edges.
