A good set also keeps your bike looking tight after a hard day in goggles, jersey, pants, and body armor—without rattles, gaps, or plastic that rubs on the tank. When choosing radiator fairings, start with exact fit and compatibility: match brand, model, year, and any oversized tank or radiator brace you run. Check the plastic type and thickness—quality injection-molded shrouds hold shape, align with OEM mounting points, and resist heat warping. Consider riding conditions: deep mud and slow technical singletrack demand clean airflow paths and plastics that don’t trap debris; sand and high-speed MX need stable panels that won’t flutter. Plan for maintenance too: look for designs that make radiator cleaning and hose access easy, and replace worn grommets/spacers to prevent cracking.
