Motocross and enduro carburetor nozzles - precision fuel dosage and full engine power
( number of products: 243 )Nozzles are the small but critical carburetor and fuel-system parts that meter fuel and shape the spray pattern in MX/off-road bikes. The right nozzle helps your engine start easier, hold a clean idle, and pull smoothly through the midrange when you’re riding sand, loam, or tight woods. A worn or clogged nozzle often shows up as bogging on throttle, inconsistent jetting feel, and plug fouling after slow technical sections.
When choosing a nozzle, start with fit and compatibility: match your carb model and the exact nozzle type (main nozzle, pilot/slow nozzle, needle jet, or accelerator-pump nozzle) plus the correct thread and size marking. Material and machining quality matter for stable flow and repeatable tuning, especially if you’re swapping needles or changing jets for elevation. Consider riding conditions: dusty tracks and silty trails clog faster, while cold weather may push you toward different sizes to keep response crisp. Finally, think maintenance: pick nozzles you can clean properly and pair them with a fresh fuel filter and clean float bowl.
Common mistakes are mixing look-alike sizes, overtightening and damaging soft brass, or chasing jetting problems caused by air leaks, worn needles, or a dirty tank. Replace nozzles if the orifice is ovaled, the edges are nicked, the size stamp is unreadable, or cleaning doesn’t restore consistent fueling.
Tip: Before changing sizes, remove the nozzle and verify it’s perfectly clear with carb cleaner and compressed air—never poke it with steel wire.
