Motocross and enduro hubs - Factory strength, precision and style
( number of products: 2 )Hubs are the core of your off-road wheel setup, connecting the rim to the axle and letting the wheel spin smoothly under hard MX and enduro loads. A quality hub helps prevent play, wobble and premature bearing failure, keeps the wheel tracking straight in ruts and braking bumps, and takes the hit when you land sideways or clip rocks. If you’re chasing stronger wheel builds, rebuilding after a smashed flange, or trying to fix noisy, gritty rotation, the right hub is where reliability starts.
When choosing a hub, start with exact fit and compatibility: make/model/year, front vs rear, axle diameter, brake rotor bolt pattern, sprocket/drive interface, and spoke count so it matches your rim and lacing. Then look at construction: forged or CNC-machined aluminum, flange thickness, bearing and seal quality, and whether it uses standard sizes for easy service. Consider your riding conditions—mud and water crossings demand better sealing and frequent grease checks, while sand and high-speed MX punish bearings and spacers. Plan maintenance: bearing swaps should be straightforward, and you’ll want readily available spacers and seals.
Common mistakes are mixing spoke counts, reusing notched spacers, or pressing bearings in crooked, which kills them fast. Replace or rebuild when you feel side-to-side play at the rim, see leaking seals, hear grinding, or notice rotor/sprocket alignment drifting. Always check bearing seats, flange cracks, and bolt holes before committing to a wheel build.
Tip: After every few muddy rides, pull the wheel, wipe the spacers clean, and check for any gritty feel—catching a dry bearing early saves the hub and the wheel build.
