Exhaust system gaskets for motocross and enduro - tightness and protection

( number of products: 96 )
Exhaust system gaskets are the small parts that make the whole exhaust work like it should on MX/off-road bikes. They seal joints between the cylinder head, header, mid-pipe and silencer so you don’t lose backpressure, power and crisp throttle response. A fresh gasket also stops annoying exhaust leaks that sound like a ticking header, blow hot gases onto plastics, and leave oily spooge around the pipe and flange after a muddy enduro day. When choosing gaskets, start with exact fit and compatibility for your bike model, year and engine (2T vs 4T) and the specific joint you’re sealing (exhaust port, slip joint, collector). Match the material and type to the application: crush rings for the exhaust port, graphite/MLS styles for higher heat, and O-rings or sleeve gaskets for slip fits. Consider your riding conditions—sand, water crossings and pressure washing accelerate wear—and plan maintenance with every top-end service, pipe removal, or when you swap a header for a different setup. Common mistakes are reusing flattened crush gaskets, stacking mismatched parts, or overtightening springs/flange bolts to “fix” a leak. Replace a gasket if you see black soot tracks, hear a sharp leak under load, or notice a loose joint even with correct springs. Before install, clean the mating surfaces, check for dents or warped flanges, and make sure the pipe seats fully without forcing it. Tip: After the first heat cycle, let the bike cool and recheck spring tension and flange bolt torque—most new leaks show up right there.
