Consider riding and service conditions—frequent pressure washing, muddy enduro, or race-day turnaround favors a more secure, tight-sealing design. Maintenance is simple: rinse the plug, let it dry, and keep it clean so grit doesn’t scratch the outlet and create leaks. Common mistakes are using a plug that’s too small (it falls out and you won’t notice) or too large (it distorts the outlet and never seals properly).
