Clutch pump repair kits for motocross and enduro

( number of products: 10 )
Clutch pump repair kits are for rebuilding the master cylinder on MX/enduro/off-road bikes when your clutch starts acting up. They solve the common trail-and-track issues like a lever that pulls to the bar, inconsistent bite point, or clutch drag caused by worn seals, contaminated fluid, or internal scoring. Instead of replacing the whole pump, a proper kit restores pressure and lever feel so you can keep charging in your jersey, knee guards and goggles without worrying about missed shifts in technical sections. To choose the right kit, start with exact fitment: brand/model/year and the master cylinder type (OEM vs aftermarket, bore size, piston design). Check what’s included—piston, cup seals, spring, circlip, dust boot—and match it to what’s actually worn. Consider materials: quality rubber compounds (EPDM for brake/clutch fluid) and corrosion-resistant springs last longer in muddy, wet riding. Finally, think maintenance: if you ride in deep water or pressure-wash a lot, plan on more frequent fluid changes and inspect the boot and lever pivot. Common mistakes are mixing the wrong fluid (mineral vs DOT) and rebuilding a pump with a pitted cylinder bore—new seals won’t hold pressure on a damaged surface. Replace the kit if you see fluid weeping at the lever, the return port is blocked, or the lever feel changes after hard motos. Also check the slave cylinder and line, because a “soft lever” isn’t always only the master. Tip: Before assembly, flush the system and lightly lube seals with fresh correct fluid—never grease—to avoid tearing the cups on install.
