Clutch pump repair kit

( number of products: 20 )
A clutch pump repair kit is for rebuilding the clutch master cylinder on MX/off-road bikes when the lever feel goes soft, the bite point moves, or fluid starts weeping around the piston. Instead of swapping the whole master, a rebuild restores pressure and consistent engagement, so you can focus on lines and traction—not a clutch that drags, slips, or won’t fully disengage in tight enduro sections. Choose your kit by exact fitment and bore size for your master cylinder (model, year, and brake/clutch brand), then match the seal type and included parts to what you’re fixing. Look for quality rubber compounds that handle DOT fluid or mineral oil (never mix), and check whether the kit includes the piston, primary/secondary cups, spring, snap ring, and dust boot. Riding conditions matter too: deep mud, frequent power-washing, and long downhill clutch work accelerate seal wear, so plan on more frequent service and fresh fluid. Common mistakes are rebuilding with a scored cylinder bore or reusing a cracked reservoir diaphragm, which leads to repeat leaks and inconsistent pressure. Replace the kit if the lever doesn’t build pressure after bleeding, the return port is blocked, or you see contaminated fluid with rubber debris. Before assembly, inspect the bore for pitting, clean the compensating port, and lubricate seals with the correct fluid to avoid tearing on install. Tip: If the lever won’t firm up, tie it back overnight and tap the line and master lightly to release trapped micro-bubbles before your final bleed.
