Motocross and enduro chain lubricants - protection, durability and smooth drive operation

( number of products: 37 )
Chain lubricants are made to keep your MX/off-road drive clean, quiet, and efficient while protecting the chain and sprockets from wear. The right lube reduces friction, helps prevent corrosion after wet rides and pressure washing, and limits grit buildup that can turn your chain into a grinding paste. A properly lubricated chain also holds adjustment longer, so you spend less time re-tensioning between motos and trail days. When choosing a chain lube, start with compatibility and type: O-ring/X-ring chains need a lube that won’t swell seals and can creep into the rollers without washing out. Pick the formula for your conditions—tacky options resist fling at high RPM and stay put in sand, while “dry” or low-dirt formulas attract less dust for hardpack and summer trails. Consider water resistance if you ride mud, stream crossings, or wash the bike often, and look for good penetration so you can lube quickly after cleaning. Maintenance matters too: a lube that pairs well with your chain cleaner makes it easier to keep the drivetrain consistent. Common mistakes are over-lubing and spraying right before riding. Excess product collects sand, and immediate riding flings lube onto the rim, tire, and rear brake. Replace or service the chain when you see tight spots, hooked sprocket teeth, rust under the rollers, or the chain won’t hold proper slack. Tip: Lube the warm chain after the ride, wipe off the excess, and let it set for 10–15 minutes before the next start.
